Mark 8:34-35 says...”If anyone wishes to come after Me, he must deny himself, and take up his cross and follow Me. For whoever wishes to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake and the gospel’s will save it.” And once again in Matthew 10:39 “He who has found his life will lose it, and he who has lost his life for My sake will find it.”
Even though I’ve been a Christian for a long time, God has been showing me, in a new way this year, what it means to be dying to myself and trying to live for Him. I can’t be loving the world and God at the same time. It takes dying to this world in order to be gaining abundant life in Him. I have a long way to go, but these are some of the thoughts, messages, quotes, videos, and verses that are helping me on that journey. May God be glorified in all that you find here. And may it be an encouragement to you. God strong!
